Job Description

Schedules, assigns daily duties, and assesses the general performance of the nursing staff in the practice. Performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for the admission of patients, utilizing the Nursing processes of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation. Performs all duties of a Registered Professional Nurse as necessary.

Job Responsibility

+ Supervises, hires, educates, disciplines and evaluates the performance of nursing staff.
+ Develops long-term practice staffing schedules and ensures adequate daily coverage in accordance with established staffing needs.
+ Develops measures and monitors practice clinical operational performance metrics inclusive of agency and overtime costs.
+ Ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner; Interviews nursing candidates and orients new employees.
