Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Issue contractual agreements for sales and purchases post-transaction.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with traders to address any discrepancies, missing details, or inappropriate terms etc.
  • Thoroughly examine master Letters of Credit (LC) to verify compliance with all terms before prompting customers to initiate LC.
  • Coordinate timely opening of LC prior to shipment.
  • Prepare necessary customs documentation for clearance procedures.
  • Compile and present documentation for sales LC.
  • Create document instructions for brokers, owners, or suppliers.
  • Provide timely updates on vessel movements to suppliers and buyers.
  • Calculate and file claims for any demurrage charges incurred.
  • Monitor payment and settlement progress.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for every shipment.
