Job Description
Job Responsibilities: Take responsibility and ownership for a full spectrum of shipping operations, contracts management and documentation with guidance and support from supervisors and senior team members Handle a full set of shipping documents for shipment execution, ensuring fast turnaround for shipment processes, contracts allocations & vessel nominations Coordinate shipments with suppliers, buyers, shipbrokers, chartering, ship owners/agents, surveyors, insurers etc., to ensure smooth loading and delivery Liaise with banks on Letters of Credit opening, clean negotiation and collection documentation Work on SAP/ITAS/related system for invoicing, allocations and matching Follow up on operational matters including demurrages/despatch, receivables, payables, clients ageing accounts etc Work closely with internal stakeholders (Commercial, Risk, Global offices, Finance, Accounts, Pricing, Chartering etc) to ensure execution risks are identified in advance and possible solutions are expl...
