Role Overview

Chesterfield Borough Council is seeking an operations manager to join our cultural venues team to launch our new theatre and museum venue, 1435. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the operation of some of the town’s most valued public buildings, including 1435 and the Winding Wheel Theatre.

Responsibilities

• Manage the building management and technical delivery of all events at the cultural venues to an excellent standard.
• Ensure all venues comply with all health and safety requirements.
• Develop and introduce operational procedures for the re‑opening and operation of 1435.
• Lead the theatre technical team and caretaking team, demonstrating proven management experience.
