Job Description
Responsibilities - Operate the power plant according to procedures and requirements, including starting, loading, unloading and shutting down the complete plant and systems.
- Support the ASCE/SCE/PSCE to meet the contractual, technical and commercial set‑up and operation of the Power Station.
- Have sound knowledge of safe operating parameters, controls, precautions and safety interlocks when starting and loading plant equipment to avoid damage and run the plant most efficiently.
- Troubleshoot, analyse and test plant process conditions when necessary.
- Manage, monitor and control plant process operation from the control room DCS.
- Record plant operating data and report defects and abnormalities.
- Carry out isolation/normalisation of equipment as required by the Permit To Work System.
