Requirements

• Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner (Basic Medical Degree MBBCh) or equivalent.
• Proof of registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist.
• Proof of current HPCSA registration card or receipt of current registration with HPCSA .
• MMed degree (OPTH) and passed final exams with the CMSA.
• A minimum of 3 years experience required after qualifying as a specialist.

Duties

• Interview, investigate, diagnose and oversee the treatment of patients.
• Supervise Junior Doctors (undergraduate students, interns, community service Doctors and Registrars).
