Job Description:
"System Design Scope

The system design could typically address the following areas:

Flex Grid architecture definition
(e.g., slot width strategy such as 37.5 / 50 / 75 GHz, etc.)
End to end OLS reference architecture
(terminal → line system → amplifier chain)
Open ROADM based or ROADM less OLS design
Support for mixed modulation formats and baud rates
Spectrum planning and coexistence(legacy fixed grid alongside flex grid)
And other related Layer 0 considerations


Software Focus (Not Hardware Development)

There is no requirement to develop WSS hardware or pluggable optics.
What is required is system software to build and integrate the solution—what was referred to in the call as “plumbing software.”
