**Description:**
You will be the Optical Operator for the Optical Components Center. Our team is responsible for utilizing the latest capabilities in precision optical manufacturing to produce some of the world’s most advanced weapon and sensor technology.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Optical Operator you will work from manufacturing process plans, engineering drawings, and specifications to perform complex optical fabrication processes, including grinding and polishing, and to verify compliance with optical MIL specifications.
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Perform complex optical fabrication processes, including grinding and polishing.
+ Conduct measurements and data collection using interferometers, gauges, and microscopes.
+ Verify compliance with optical MIL specifications.
+ Document results and maintain accurate records.
+ Follow manufacturing process plans, engineering drawings, and specifications.
