Job Scope We are searching for a fully registered AHPC Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team, providing assessment and intervention to a varied caseload of children aged 2-18.
About the Role - Conduct comprehensive assessments using both formal and informal assessment tools
- Complete formal written reports for parents and other professionals
- Set functional and SMART goals for therapy and prepare a therapy plan
- Complete classroom observations and work closely with teaching staff
- Provide motivating therapy sessions in the home and school settings with ongoing feedback to parents
- Provide guidance to parents and teachers on how to work together with the child to achieve their goals
- Work in a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including occupational therapists, teachers, and psychologists
