**Responsibilities**

+ Prepares motor vehicles and military equipment (automobiles, buses, trucks, missiles) for painting.
+ Roughens aluminum, steel, and other surfaces using hand sanders or tools to ensure proper paint adhesion.
+ Masks and covers areas not intended for painting.
+ Performs minor touch-ups, including stenciling letters or numerals on surfaces.
+ Does not perform sandblasting or major painting using power machinery.
+ Applies caulking or sealants per work instructions to prevent moisture damage and corrosion.
+ Obtains forklift license upon request.

**Qualifications**

+ 1 - 3 years of experience.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to Obtain and Maintain Government Secret Security Clearance.
