POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the production and manufacture of circular bacon logs or bacon slabs.

MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

·Perform all jobs in a manner that assures maximum possible personal safety, food safety and product quality.

·Tasks include product loading and transferring of product or ingredients with and electric jack.

·Perform tasks such as pickled formulation and cooking require ability to complete and accurately evaluate paperwork.

·Perform tasks including evaluating product against performance and quality specifications such as trimming, clipping and pressing.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

High School or GED preferred.

Meat experience and background preferred.
