Reporting to and under the supervision of the Chair of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the ideal candidate will have content expertise and be skilled in pedagogical practices that engage students and make education relevant. Additionally, they will be student-centered and dedicated to the role of Liberal Arts and Sciences in the education of artists.
QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree in Acoustics or Acoustical Engineering (Ph.D. preferred)Experience teaching at the university levelRecord of creative scholarship/professional activityDemonstration of collaboration and participation in professional organizationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommand of technology to support professional work and advance teaching and learningCommitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion RESPONSIBILITIES
