Part-Time Art Technician

We are seeking to recruit a skilled Art specialist to work within our exceptional Art and Design department. This is a part‑time role, helping resource and support students across a range of abilities—from beginners to those preparing for GCSE‑level exams. As part of the role, you will report directly to the Head of the Creative Faculty and contribute to the day‑to‑day running of the Art and DT departments.

Main Duties

• Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
• Organise an effective diary ensuring staff requests and support are completed.
• Preparation of equipment and materials for lessons.
• Clearing of equipment and resources at end of lessons.
• Assisting staff with class practical work, when requested by teachers.
• Recycling clay.
