Our client is a well-regarded local authority based in the North West of England, committed to protecting public health and maintaining high food hygiene standards across the district. Due to increased service demand, they are seeking an experienced Food Safety Officer to provide interim support to the Environmental Health team.
We are recruiting a Part-Time Food Safety Officer for an initial 6‑month contract, starting ASAP. The successful candidate will deliver statutory food safety functions, ensuring compliance with food hygiene legislation and supporting local businesses in meeting regulatory standards.
This role offers 18‑20 hours per week at a competitive rate of £40 per hour. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements may be available subject to service requirements.
