POSITION TITLE:  PARTS COUNTERPERSON

DEPARTMENT:  PARTS

REPORTS TO:  PARTS MANAGER

FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt

EARNING POTENTIAL $70,000-$80,000 depending on experience and bonus. 

PURPOSE: The Parts Counterperson sells, at retail, parts to all available customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

•   Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.


•  Pull purchases from stock.
  If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.
