Job Summary
Pastry & Bakery Commis I assists the Chefs in day‑to‑day operations of the kitchen and helps maintain a high standard of food preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items in accordance with standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.
- Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie/Commis I in developing standard recipes and ensure strict compliance with them.
- Participate in product development and support the smooth, efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Apply sound knowledge of cuisines and food service sanitation to perform duties efficiently and productively.
- Maintain complete knowledge and adherence to Four Seasons Food Standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude at all times.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Pastry Chef.
