Responsibilities

• Maintain constant visual observation of multiple patients simultaneously
• Monitor patients for safety risks based on nurse-driven indications
• Verbally redirect patients with a digital 2-way audio device located in patient rooms
• Confirm patient information throughout all interactions
• Document all interactions with patients and clinical staff including patient and nurse introductions
• Demonstrate proficiency with variety of technology platforms
• Reporting changes in patient behavior, and escalating communications as necessary using established protocols and best judgment
• Notify VSO Lead when VSO has completed A/ V check to begin monitoring or when CVM is discontinued by RN
