Join Black & McDonald as a Payroll Administrator based in Markham, Ontario, with a blend of remote and in-office work. Engage with unions, process payrolls accurately, and manage employee terminations seamlessly.
This role involves collaborating with a hard-working finance team while reporting directly to the Payroll Manager. You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and must handle direct deposits as well as respond to payroll inquiries from various stakeholders. Strong attention to detail is crucial in this hands-on position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with unions to update wage schedules
• Process payrolls accurately and timely via direct deposit
• Manage employee setups, terminations, and ROEs
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual returns for provincial items
• Prepare annual T4, RL1, and T2200 forms
Requirements:
• Complete PCP designation with NPI
• Over 3 years of payroll experience required
