You will be part of an exciting,passionate, friendly, hardworking team offering a range of city wide community based interventions. We are a mental healthrecovery focused team, you will be working with a client group who have adiagnosis of a complex psychosis.

The role of peer support worker has been developed specifically forpeople who have lived experience of secondary mental health services. Throughsharing wisdom from their own experiences, peer support workers will inspirehope and belief in recovery and supporting others to gain a sense of controlover their lives.

As a highly valued member of themulti-disciplinary team, the peer support worker will provide peer support andpractice assistance to service users in order for them to regain control overtheir lives and build connections with their local communities. Based withinthe Specialist Outreach Recovery Team the Peer Support Worker will work acrossthe team, supporting with individual recovery journeys.
