Position Purpose

• The Perioperative Services Coordinator manages the materials, supplies, equipment, and environment within the unit. This includes ordering supplies, processing purchase orders, and assisting with the selection of supplies, equipment and instruments. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure sufficient equipment and supply availability on each unit. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining all unit equipment in working condition. This position is also responsible for conducting unit safety rounds and for resolving any safety or aesthetic environmental problems within the unit.
