Role Overview: - Blend of inpatient pulmonary consults and outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Position will begin primarily with inpatient consults and a small outpatient component, expanding as patient volume grows
Responsibilities: - Daily rounding at 1-2 assigned hospitals in the morning (close proximity)
- Average daily patient volume: 25
- Outpatient clinic scheduled in the afternoon (initially a half-day per week, with potential to increase based on growth)
- The group provides consults at 4 hospitals and 1 long-term care facility, with future expansion as practice grows
Schedule: - Monday-Friday: mornings spent on hospital rounds, afternoons for scheduled outpatient clinic as assigned
- On-call duties for assigned hospitals (new consults handled the next morning; no routine overnight hospital visits)
