The Pest Control Officer will be part of the Environmental Protection Team within Regulatory Services and Health, working full‑time (37 hours per week).

The role involves undertaking pest control treatments and surveys in domestic, commercial and school premises. You must have experience of dealing with pests in a range of premises and have detailed knowledge of the various available treatments and prevention methods for pest control. You will also be required to have sufficient verbal and written communication skills to convey information to a variety of customers.

Qualifications

• A relevant pest control qualification and/or experience pertaining to the work undertaken, which includes the most recent CRRU requirements.
• A detailed knowledge of pest treatments and prevention methods.
