An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to provide overnight coverage at a respected medical center in Chesapeake, VA. This 13-week contract begins on Monday, March 23rd, offering a dynamic work schedule with seven nights on followed by seven nights off. The shifts are as follows: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:30 AM and Friday through Sunday from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and enter medication orders


• Manage intravenous (IV) medications and pain-controlled analgesia


• Monitor antibiotic therapies and drug interactions


• Utilize electronic medical records with EPIC charting for patient documentation


• Apply clinical knowledge to pharmacokinetic and renal dosing as well as anticoagulant therapy (preferred)


• Handle chemotherapy medications with care and compliance (preferred)
