About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Pharmacist to join our Oncology and Haematology team at Te Whatu Ora – MidCentral. In this role you will deliver high‑quality clinical and operational pharmacy services, supporting safe and effective cancer care for our patients. Weekend, after‑hours, and on‑call roster participation is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality clinical and operational pharmacy services, supporting safe and effective cancer care.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contribute to rounds, provide expert medicines advice, and support preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives, quality improvement projects, and education within Cancer Services.

Qualifications

• NZ‑registered Pharmacist.
• Strong clinical skills, great communication, and a passion for patient‑centred care.
