There has never been a better time to join the Trust's Pharmacy Team as we are currently looking to transform our ways of working by introducing a Medicines Repacking Service across the Trust. This began in a small number of sites a few years ago with Medicine bags. We ran a pilot using a pouch based system which worked even better, we have placed a large bulk order and they are due arrive in June for us to get started on a wider Trust roll out plan. Alongside this there will be the introduction of a Digital Inventory Management system to support with better visibility of medicines across all locations in the trust at the click of a button.
