Position Summary

/ Career Interest:The Pharmacy Technician Trainee is an employment and training position designed to develop a pharmacy technician knowledge base and competency level while performing pharmacy functions under the direct supervision of a clinical pharmacist. Candidates may enter this role upon acceptance into the Pharmacy Technician Traineeship Program. The Pharmacy Technician Trainee may remain in this role for up to 6 months from hiring date to allow for program completion and onboarding into a pharmacy technician role, if hired on after successful completion of the traineeship program.

After education, training, and assessments, the Pharmacy Technician Trainee will perform functions essential to the operations of the pharmacy as outlined by the supervisor.
