Global. The position is a PhD fellow at the Centre for Sámi Studies (SESAM), Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education (HSL), UiT in Tromsø.

Responsibilities

• Complete research training to the level of a doctoral degree.
• Participate in the faculty's research training.
• Carry out the doctoral project during the appointment period.
• Co‑supervise the doctoral project with scholars at the Centre for Sámi Studies.

Research Focus

An international comparison of policies and institutions established to handle material from Truth (and Reconciliation) Commissions, including policies related to ownership, control, access, time limits for public release, and dissemination of collected information.
