Phlebotomist II to support our client’s team in
Charlottesville, VA. This is a full-time, 13-weeks contract.
Job Summary:This is a contract role with strong potential for full-time conversion. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong venipuncture skills, excellent time management, and experience working with both pediatric and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, forensic, and clinical collections
- Handle difficult (hard stick) and geriatric patient draws with confidence
- Accurately process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Manage workload independently in a solo work setting
