Overview Evaluates and treats patients of all ages who suffered loss of upper, lower extremities function, balance, coordination, endurance, or present with pain, or wounds/burns due to illnesses, trauma, or surgery. This position creates a treatment plan based on assessment findings and works with patients and families to achieve the highest possible level of independence.
Responsibilities PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions) - Designs and implements treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Documents assessments and interventions accurately and timely.
- Educates patients and family members.
- Evaluates patients muscle strength, ROM, endurance, balance, pain, skin integrity and overall function level.
