Summary The Hematologist/Oncologist at Robley Rex VA Medical Center provides comprehensive care to Veterans with hematologic and oncologic disorders. The incumbent is responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients referred to Hematology/Oncology services, participates in teaching activities, and works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Clinical Care: Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases, including but not limited to anemia, leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, solid tumors, and other blood disorders. Perform inpatient and outpatient consultations within the Hematology/Oncology Section. Participate in the multidisciplinary tumor board and collaborate with surgical, radiation, palliative, social work, and pharmacy teams. 2.
