A global pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation is seeking a highly experienced Piping Global Category Expert to manage procurement category activities for investment (Capex) projects, primarily at the Visp site and, if required, across other global sites. In this role, you will coordinate closely with Capex Lead Buyers and Piping Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to plan and execute complex projects in GMP-regulated environments. You will drive category strategy execution, manage supplier relationships, monitor market developments, and lead large and complex RFQ packages end-to-end. You will be responsible for procurement of piping bulk materials, fittings, flanges, supports, insulation, passivation, piping installation services, and design. The role combines strategic category management with hands‑on operational procurement execution and active participation in global category initiatives.
