Responsibilities
Investigate complaints and possible breaches of planning regulationsCarry out site inspections, visits, observations, and interviewsMaintain accurate records and evidence from investigationsAdvise residents, developers, and businesses on planning enforcement proceduresMonitor planning conditions and work with developers to resolve issuesDraft enforcement notices and related documentationPrepare reports and provide evidence at hearings, inquiries, and court proceedingsWork with other council departments on joint investigationsAssist with responding to FOI and EIR requestsSupport the wider Development Control Team when required What We're Looking For
