Position Overview

Nexteer is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership, a positive attitude, and a passion for leading change. This role operates within a manufacturing environment and partners closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and UAW-represented employees to improve operational efficiency, optimize cycle times, enhance job design, and refine plant layout.
Key Responsibilities

+ Proactively identify and mitigate ergonomic, health, and safety risks within assigned areas

+ Lead the development and execution of comprehensive continuous improvement strategies

+ Manage manpower planning and forecasting activities to support operational needs

+ Analyze value streams using the Manufacturing System Design (MSD) Excel simulation tool and other analytical methods to prioritize improvement initiatives
