Plant Operator II Full Time (40 hrs per week). Reports to: Production Superintendent. Location: Corporate Office Location, Production Department, 420 S. Doolittle Road, Edinburg, TX 78542. Description of Duties Responsible for operation of equipment used to treat, test, and transfer water or wastewater. Handle various chemicals (chlorine, alum, ammonia, lime, acids, and reagents). Inspect and test equipment regularly to ensure proper function; report deviations. Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges. Conduct reads of meter readings, test results, feed levels, tank levels, pressure, chemical levels, and pumps. Run laboratory tests including pH, chlorine residual, and turbidity. Maintain property around water areas and clean the lab. Participate in job‐specific and corporate required training. Comply with federal, state regulations and corporate policies.
