Job Description
- Prepares, transfers and applies chemicals like aluminum chlorohydrate, liquid chlorine, polymer, caustic soda, sodium hypochlorite, potassium permanganate, ferric chloride and other necessary chemicals for plant operations.
- Monitors treatment chemical consumption to ensure chemical feed rates correspond to the recommended dosage.
- Inspects, receives and records treatment chemical deliveries during the shift and updates stock balance.
- Facilitates, inspects and records sludge hauling activities during the shift. Maintains and repairs minor defects of equipment/instruments and reports major defects for immediate repair.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workstation, dosing equipment, appurtenances, and working tools used in plant operations and maintenance. Applies 5S in all activities.
