FM Conway is currently looking to recruit a Plant Supervisor to join our Aggregate and Asphalt (A&A) division. Based from our Erith Asphalt plant, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing a multi-skilled role that will include operating the asphalt plant, mobile plant, and weighbridge functions, alongside co-ordinating the shift and supervising the site.
The duties of the Plant Supervisor role will include:
Supervising and motivating the operational team to achieve excellence and continual improvement both in terms of quality and efficiency Managing stock levels of fuel, constituent and raw materials Ensuring mixing plans are carried out in an effective and cost-effective manner Reporting critical issues in a timely and accurate manner Generating task specific risk assessments and safe working practices Controlling and supervising contractors in accordance with the company’s health, safet...
