Overview

Our client has a requirement for Platers for a shutdown on Port Talbot for 10 days. The work will involve plate repairs and welding on existing steel plate and channel.

Responsibilities

• Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
• Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
• Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
• MMA welding on mild steel plate

Qualifications & Certifications

• CCNSG card
• Apprenticeship / City & Guilds / NVQ 3
• Confined Space Entry certificate
