THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity exists for a committed and passionate individual to join the Office for Youth as a Policy and Project Officer. The Youth Programs team is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team that manages a variety of programs and funded initiatives aimed at strengthening youth engagement, building social cohesion, and supporting communities to build protective factors against youth disengagement and its consequences.
You will provide policy, project and program management support across a range of youth participation and early intervention initiatives. The role works across a variety of areas in the Youth portfolio to develop and deliver high quality advice to the Minister for Youth and senior executives on a wide range of matters of strategic importance, including initiatives that support improved outcomes for young people in Victoria. The role is also responsible for managing and administering Office for Youth grant programs and associated priorities.
