Inrad Optics, a Luxium Solutions company, is seeking self-motivated individuals to add to our growing team of Optical Technicians. In this position, you will set up, operate, and maintain various spindle polishing machines to perform precision beveling, grinding, lapping and polishing of optical materials to close tolerances. • Hand grind and spindle grind optical glass, quartz and infrared optical material and ensure conformity to work order traveler and blueprint specifications.
• Set up and operate optical spindle machines to polish various optical components, including windows, prisms, and lenses. Typical materials consist of optical glass, quartz, zinc selenide, silicon and germanium.
