Job Description
Polysomnographic Technologist Location: The Woodlands, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights - 3x12 Hours
Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities - Prepare for and conduct overnight sleep studies according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Review patient records and assess sleep/wake complaints prior to testing.
- Interview patients regarding medications, caffeine or alcohol intake, sleep patterns, and treatment needs.
- Perform polysomnographic testing and monitoring for patients across various age groups.
- Conduct CPAP and BIPAP titration studies as indicated.
- Perform complex sleep study procedures and patient evaluations.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and appropriate care throughout testing procedures.
