The primary purpose of this position is to manage underwriting of new and renewal Mid‑Corp Business within Santam corporate property. The role leads and effectively manages a team of underwriters, contributing to sustaining and growing a profitable book of business.

Key Functions Enhance the SCP brand and foster a corporate culture that promotes sustainable ethical practices. Support all SCP financial and growth objectives. Help achieve marketing and growth goals in line with company objectives, including Santam Specialist Solutions Growth initiatives. Manage underwriting file operations to support efficient Risk Administration. Maintain company underwriting standards based on Insured’s Loss Ratio, Risk Concerns, Policy Loss Limits, Deductibles, and other relevant information for renewals.
