Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Geography
Applications are invited for appointment as a Post-doctoral Fellow in Wildfire and Environmental Sustainability, to commence as soon as possible for a period of 2 to 3 years.
The Role
The appointee will work on research projects focusing on wildfire dynamics, their environmental impacts, and broader sustainability issues. He/she will be responsible for:
Analyzing the interlinkages, synergies, and trade-offs between wildfire regimes and environmental sustainability at global, national, or regional scales;Developing frameworks or indicator systems to evaluate the ecological and environmental impacts of wildfires under different climate and policy scenarios;Conducting quantitative research on wildfires and environmental changes using advanced modeling, remote sensing, or geospatial techniques;Assisting the PI in data collection, project management, ...
