The fellow will mainly focus on new‑generation fire‑resistant polymer composites. Key research tasks include:

• Synthesis of new polymers via molecular design
• Preparation of reinforced polymer composites
• Development of highly efficient eco‑friendly fire‑safe strategies for polymers
• In‑depth understanding of the fire behaviours of composites in fire conditions

The candidate will acquire hands‑on experience with polymer synthesis and characterization, flame retardancy, and polymer processing. The role offers exposure to fundamental and applied research in materials science, engineering, and high‑performance polymers.

Requirements

• PhD in Materials Science and Engineering or a related discipline, completed before the start of the position.
