Postdoctoral Associate The Coruzzi Lab at NYU's Center for Genomics and Systems Biology is recruiting a Postdoctoral Associate. The role provides a transition to career independence through development of professional skills, supervision by a senior scientist, and publication of research findings. Overview Our lab focuses on predictive modeling of gene regulatory networks involved in nitrogen and water use efficiency in plants. We use time‐series transcriptome data and machine learning to learn causal networks, validate them in a plant cell‐based assay (TARGET), and confirm master transcription factors in planta, including greenhouse and field studies. Responsibilities Generate and analyze Next‐Generation sequencing datasets (RNA‐Seq, Chip‐Seq, ATAC‐Seq, and others). Develop and apply machine learning approaches to model gene regulatory networks.
