The Laboratory of Stem Cells, Aging and Genome Medicines, headed by Dr. Amy Wagers in Harvard's Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology ( HSCRB ), invites applications from highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellows to join our team. Our lab uses stem cell biology, immunology and genome engineering to unravel fundamental mechanisms of tissue regeneration and to develop new gene and cell therapies for currently incurable human diseases. Ongoing projects include: 1. Interrogating fundamental mechanisms of blood and skeletal muscle stem cell function in tissue regeneration 2. Engineering and testing new in vivo gene transfer technologies 3. Advancing curative therapies for rare genetic diseases and age-related disorders
The successful candidate will have a track-record of research productivity in molecular and cell biology, immunology, and/or vertebrate physiology. Experience with one or more of the following is welcome, but not required : fl...
