Summary The Wyoming Area Office manages major water and power infrastructure across Wyoming and parts of Nebraska, including 20 reservoirs, 19 dams, and 11 hydroelectric power plants with nearly 250 MW of generating capacity. These facilities support irrigation, municipal and industrial water delivery, hydropower generation, flood control, recreation, and environmental stewardship, while serving as a critical economic resource throughout the region.
