Location: HMP Long Lartin, South Littleton, Evesham, Worcestershire WR11 8TZ.

Salary

Starting salary: £35,875 per year (39 hour week, 20% unsocial). Options include 37 or 41 hours a week (see salary table).

• 37 hours a week – £33,746 a year
• 39 hours a week – £35,875 a year
• 41 hours a week – £38,003 a year

Responsibilities

• Protect the public and maintain the safety and security of the prison.
• Support and work with prisoners, building constructive and professional relationships.
• Act as part of the prison team, supporting colleagues and working various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Carry out duties that may include peace‑keeping, counselling, training or teaching roles.
