Insight Global is seeking a Process Control Engineer for a top chemical manufacturing client in Havre de Grace, MD. This individual will serve as a key technical resource in a union plant environment, providing hands-on support for process automation, control systems, and instrumentation, with a strong focus on improving process stability, reducing variability, and driving a Right First Time operating culture. The role involves troubleshooting and supporting legacy PLC systems, upgrading older PLCs, adding and configuring instrumentation such as temperature probes and sensors, and working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (including Aspen Process Explorer) to improve data visibility through new tag development.
