**Job Description**

**The Role:**

The process engineer is to able to work with hourly union environment with occasional guidance from supervision and peers. Skilled in equipment alternatives, sequence, and flow of operations for the effective utilization of personnel and machines as necessary to produce high quality parts. Work is performed in a manufacturing plant activity where teamwork is key.

**What You'll Do (Responsibilities):**

+ Provide daily support to production operations with a strong focus on personnel and equipment safety, process quality, and uptime, particularly within press operations, fastening, and/or testing systems
+ Attend regular production meetings and represent engineering on safety, quality, throughput, and scrap reduction topics
+ Own specific manufacturing and/or quality issues, driving root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and closure
