Job Title: Procurement Engineer

Job Purpose

To serve as a technical-commercial liaison during a critical supplier onboarding phase. This role ensures that MRI magnet components are optimized for cost and manufacturing without sacrificing the high-performance standards required by Siemens Healthineers.

Responsibilities

Supplier Onboarding: Hit the ground running with a new supplier integration, ensuring they meet technical and cost specifications from day one.

Stakeholder Mediation: Act as the translator between R&D designers, engineers, and external suppliers to balance Cost, Quality, and Technical Performance.

Cost Driver Analysis: Identify exactly where costs sit within manufacturing techniques (machining, fabrication, etc.) and challenge stakeholders to optimize them.
